the premiere

I started a blog! I wanted a place to write and share my love of scrapbooking, but more importantly push myself to reach some scrapping goals. And I really wanted to join the blog world. So here I am. Forging a path. Creating a way. I hope to motivate and be motivated. So I bring to you the primiere of my scrapbooking blog. I hope you enjoy it.
First things first, I have to explain something about myself that I wonder is a common theme among scrappers. I have a tendency to get so excited about the next project, that I don't always get the current project fully complete. Sound familiar? Or you get bored with that same long album on your trip to Europe. You need to switch to something else, but never quite get "back to Europe." This is why the mini-album is my friend. Well, that's my number one scrapping problem and I'm on a mission to resolve it. I'll need to also keep up with current projects, so I'll need to be highly organized. My mission is to keep progressing and checking off one project at a time. I'll be outlining what unfinished projects I have and detailing a plan of attack that I hope you can adjust and use for yourself. Hmm, seems like we should reward ourselves, upon completing an unfinished project. . . Along the way, I want to discover and share new techniques, new project ideas and organizational tips. I would love your feedback and to hear if you are tackling unfinished projects! But before, we start digging in, I want to share one fun project that you can adapt to several different themes. I just made it last weekend and am so thrilled with how it turned out. In my next post, I'll be showing photos and tell you how I made it. Stay tuned. . . (and then I'll get to Mission Scrap!)
